The WALKABLE PHOTO-TEST precisely and economically documents the position of the heels, and indicates the thickness of the wedges required to normalise posture.
The WALKABLE PHOTO-TEST has been internationally patented by the SPONSOR. It precisely and economically documents the position of the heels, and indicates the thickness of the wedges required to normalise posture.
By using removable heel-pieces, the patient's feet will be positioned naturally on the graded platform to measure the postural degrees (ANGLE TEST).
Removing the heel-pieces, the heels will be photographed with a special digital camera fixed to a sliding support on a base equipped with graded references that are similar and opposite to those of the feet.
The platform's features will allow to take two shots (one for each foot, framed longitudinally) without the need to focus.
A dedicated software and a transparent sliding film equipped with different degree (0-18°) lines will allow to precisely measure the degrees of valgus or varus hindfeet (the line tangent to the malleolus and the median side of the heel (left foot = 12°). The software will also indicate the thickness of any heel normalising wedges.
PERIODIC POSTURAL FOLLOW-UP VISITS
Periodic postural follow-up visits are necessary to document the postural evolution of the feet treated with a certain method.
Postural recovery (75%) on feet with high-grade valgus disease and ankle stiffness.
