It is already long-time known that from the functional assets' imbalance between back and fore-foot, derive the more frequent biomechanic pathologies from foot overload, particularly in sportsmen. Tendinitises and myositises, often referred at a distance from the foot itself, recognize in a foot and tibiotarsal axial alteration their main pathogeneses, probably caused by that mechanism of altered self-perception of the surface that badly distributes to the charges and the functional resistance.

The WALKABLE T.A.P – internationally patented by SPONSOR – allows evaluating the physiological functional shape of the feet. With physiological functional position we mean the natural shape that the foot would assume without the influence of the ground reaction forces applied to the foot at close kinetic chain. With the newly designed Walkable T.A.P, practitioner will be able to diagnose and to measure how the foot would behave naturally (on forefoot and rearfoot) without the compensation that the ground reaction forces apply to the foot while patient is standing. This system will give a true representation of the foot shape and once measurements are recorded, appropriate corrections can be applied directly to the Walkable insole.
