The WALKABLE PHOTO-TEST,
has been internationally patented by Sponsor. This newly designed system is able to analyse the position of subtalar joint and to determine the degree of correction required for improving the biomechanics of your patient.
By using extrinsic heel-pieces, the patient's feet will positionate in a natural way on the graduated platform, so that the balance degrees can be pointed out (ANGLETEST). (fig. 1).
Removing the heel-pieces, the heels will be photographed with a special digital camera, fixed to a sliding support on a basis equipped with graduated references, similar and opposite to the feet's ones (fig. 2).
Thanks to the platform's charachteristics, two shots (one for each foot, framed longitudinally) will be realized without the need to aim.
A proper “stand” and a transparent sliding film equipped with different degrees (0-18°) lines (fig. 4), permit the exact sampling the abduction or adduction degrees of the heels.
On the “stand” is reported a table that points out the thickness of the supinatore/pronator wedge, based on the shoe size and the inclination degrees. (Example.: shoe 39-41, inclination 12°= mm.9,7).
